EXPERIENCE REPTILES & MORE

We are available for photography and film. Our animals have appeared on television, in newspapers, published on websites, appeared in a music video and even participated in university research http://www.pnas.org/content/105/11/4215.full, not to be confused with scientific experiments.

Our animals are not just professionals they offer a personal experience as well. We have done presentations for Cub Scouts, birthday parties, family reunions, block parties, downtown celebrations and children’s festivals. We have also helped students in every class level from preschool to college learn about their biology and natural history. You will get up close and personal with the animals and have the opportunity to have your picture taken with these amazing creatures.

Our most popular event is the Dragons & Serpents petting zoo at the Northern California Renaissance Faire www.NorCalRenFaire.org Come and visit us and enjoy a day in 16th century Elizabethan England.

INSECT EXPERIENCE

The creepy and crawly come to you. We may start with a vast container full Kingworms wiggling over each other. There are also tarantulas, giant hissing cockroaches, giant millipedes, scorpions and the very scary cave spiders. We encourage you to touch or hold all of the insects and arachnids.

REPTILE EXPERIENCE

See and touch a variety of interesting animals. It starts with critters from the Insect Experience then we introduce frogs, snakes, lizards and tortoises. Most people enjoy holding a snake around their neck and posing for pictures. We try to include at least one large snake or lizard.

AUSTRALIAN EXPERIENCE

The strange and unusual animals of Australia are a great experience. These include reptiles, parrots and other animals.

See the majestic Red Tail Hawk up close and discover one of the best hunters in our own backyard. Learn about falconry and its history.
